Croatia November 2024: Suzuki Vitara and VW Golf top surging market

Suzuki Vitara takes its first victory in Croatia in almost 8 years.

There were 4,022 new cars on Croatian roads in November, a superb 17.4% improvement year-on-year, bringing the number of vehicles up 12.9% year-to-date to 60,164. This month Volkswagen ( +55.4%) topped the brand charts with fantastic year-on-year share growth to 13.3%. YTD leader Skoda (-12.1%) is fighting for second place, ahead of Suzuki (+96.9%) and Kia (+30%), ahead of the market. Renault (+10.5%) is more modest and rounds out the top five, ahead of the sinking Toyota (-31%). Audi (+70.3%) and Hyundai (+48%) also impress below.

Judging by the model ratings, Suzuki Vitara (+372.5%) scores its first victory since January 2017, but remains in fifth place since the beginning of the year. The VW Golf (+637.5%) rose 8 places in October to 2nd place, up from 16th this year. The VW T-Cross (+194.4%) completes the podium full of surreal successes. In contrast, the Skoda Octavia (-32.4%) falls to 4th place, but remains the best seller since the beginning of the year. Kia Stonic (+127.8%) flew out of the October top 20 straight to 5th place versus 15th place this year. VW Taigo (+42%) also showed excellent results, taking sixth place. MG HS enters the top 20 for the first time and immediately ranks 11th.
