However, the year-to-date figure remains positive at +4.4% to 13,306. This month, Kia (+73.6%) remains ultra-dominant with a share of 18.3% versus 10.8% for Toyota (-25 .3%), taking second place. Volkswagen (-8.3%) and Mercedes (-6.5%) manage to contain their decline somewhat, while Nissan (-13.4%) is roughly in line with the market and rises 5 places in September to rank 5th place. Jeep (+135.7%), Ford (+90%) and Land Rover (+55.6%) are also impressive.

In terms of models, the Kia Sportage (+507.7%) leads early with 7.9% market share, marking its third monthly win this year after January and March. The year-to-date leader, the Kia Stonic (+42.1%), dropped to second place for the month, but is still growing rapidly compared to last year. The Mini Countryman (-51.6%), which held the top spot a year ago, is again firmly in third place, ahead of the fast-growing Toyota Yaris Cross (+47.6%) and Kia Picanto (+27.3%).
