Luxembourg October 2024: Peugeot (+124.8%), BMW (+36.5%) highlight stable market


Peugeot held 7.6% of the Luxembourg market in October, up from 3.7% since the start of the year.

In October, 4,175 new cars found buyers in Luxembourg, which is 0.2% more than last year. The year-to-date figure remains negative at -5% to 40,065. Volkswagen (-5.1%) disappoints but remains at the top of the brand rankings with a 12.4% share. BMW is 26 units lower (+36.5%). Mercedes (+4.4%) is also firmly in third place, repeating the same podium finish as in September and since the beginning of the year. Peugeot (+124.8%) rockets to 4th place with the biggest gain in the top 20, while Audi (-9.6%) struggles to 5th place. The remaining top ten market leaders are also ahead of Toyota (+36.4%), Kia (+17.2%) and Skoda (+11.2%).

Previous month: Luxembourg, September 2024: Mini (+45.6%) stands out in a negative market.

One year ago: Luxembourg, October 2023: Jeep, MG and Tesla helped lift the market by 20.3%.
