Sales of Sazgar Haval H6 in June increased by 294.5% year-on-year.
According to local association PAMA, new passenger car sales in June rose 120.2% year-on-year to 13,284 units, amid a poor year-on-year performance. Total sales for the first half of 2024 were up 50.5% to 64,372. Note that not all manufacturers present in Pakistan are PAMA members, with Kia, Changan and MG among them, and so do not appear in these statistics. Chery also recently stopped publishing sales figures. Suzuki (+128.8%) manages to outperform the growing market, taking 51.8% share, up from the 50.4% it has held since the start of the year. Toyota (+60.2%) is weak in the context, but still holds a solid 22.3% share, up from 21.1% since the start of the year. Hyundai (+144.4%) overtakes Honda (+256.7%) and ranks third with a share of 10.3% against 8.4% so far this year. Sazgar Haval (+294.5%) is the most dynamic of all and ranks 5th. In terms of models, Suzuki Alto (+127.5%) of course ranks first, ahead of Toyota Corolla (+96.5%), Suzuki Swift (+237.8%) and Sazgar Haval H6 (+294.5%).
