Honda Civic is estimated to take second place in Pakistan in March.
Sales of locally produced new passenger cars in Pakistan rose 0.3% year-on-year in March to 9,379 units. This is a poor result considering March 2023 was -65.6% lower than the year before. First-quarter sales rose 14% to 29,624 sales. This was reported by the local association PAMA. Please note that not all manufacturers present in Pakistan are members of PAMA, such as Kia, Changan and MG, and therefore do not appear in these statistics. Note. Chery also recently stopped sharing sales data. Suzuki (-20.2%) is disappointing, but still leads the brand rankings with a 43.7% share. Event of the month – 2nd place Honda (+162%), ahead of Toyota (-10.8%). The top five is completed by Hyundai (-4.1%) and Sazgar Haval (+403%). In terms of models, below the Suzuki Alto (+14.9%) with an estimated share of 31.2% is the Honda Civic (+226.7%). Second place over Honda City (+225.9%). Toyota Corolla (+13.9%) moved retrograde to fourth place.
