Suzuki Alto holds 30.6% market share in Pakistan this month.
Sales of locally produced new passenger cars rose 23.9% year-on-year to 10,297 units in September, according to local association PAMA. Year to date, the figure is up 44.2% to 91,957 compared to last year’s devastating results. Note that Changan and Kia do not report sales figures to PAMA, but they are reported to be quite successful here. Suzuki (+18.4%) cannot catch up with the market and its share falls to 48.7%. Toyota (+48.4%) is in excellent shape with a 23% share, ahead of Honda (-5.4%) in complexity by 12.3%. Sazgar Haval (+174.7%) continues to rise in fourth place, while Hyundai (-8%) struggles. In terms of model, Suzuki Alto (+23.3%) apparently retains the lead with a 30.6% share, while Toyota Corolla (+51.1%) is estimated to be in second place, ahead of Sazgar Haval H6 (+174 .7%) and Toyota Yaris (+174.7%). +46.1%).
