The Nissan Patrol is the second best-selling car in the UAE in October.
In October, 27,985 new passenger cars found buyers in the United Arab Emirates, which is 10.9% more than last year. Year to date, the figure is up an equally robust 10.2% to 250,834. Market leader Toyota (+3.9%) is unable to catch up with market growth, but still maintains a dominant share of 26.1% versus 25.4%. this year. Nissan’s share (+30.6%) increased to 19% against an increase of 16.6% since the beginning of the year. Mitsubishi (+13.4%) also leads the market in third place. MG (+111.3%) has risen rapidly compared to last year and secured 4th place, a ranking it has maintained since the beginning of the year. All other participants in the top 10, with the exception of Kia (+4.8%), are ahead of the overall growth rate: Ford – by 45%, Chevrolet – by 43.8%, Geely – by 33.5% to 3.9% share against 2.7% since the beginning of the year, Mazda – by 24.9%. %, and Hyundai grew by 15.5%.
In terms of model, Nissan Sunny (+23.8%) remains the best seller in the country with a strong share of 6.8% versus 5.3% this year. Nissan Patrol (+44.2%) overtakes Toyota Hilux and takes 2nd place, but remains third since the beginning of the year. The Toyota Land Cruiser (+35.7%) and Hiace (+40%) are also in excellent form below, but the Chevrolet Captiva (+214.5%) does even better in sixth place. Land Rover Defender (+17.5%) confirms that it is now among the UAE’s top 10 vehicles, ranking 10th both in October and year-to-date.
