In the first quarter of 2024, 74,215 new cars were sold in the United Arab Emirates. Toyota dominates the brand charts with a 24.8% share, ahead of Nissan with a 17.1% share. The top five is completed by Mitsubishi (7.6%), Hyundai (4%) and Ford (4%). MG moves up to 7th place and Mercedes is now in 10th place reporting its total sales. Also note Geely (13th), JAC (16th) and Tesla (17th) holding down a spot in the top 20. Newcomer TANK takes 31st place, while local electric vehicle brand Rabdan (meaning strength, courage and fearlessness in Arabic) does its thing. first chart appearance at number 37.

As for the model, the Nissan Sunny is the undisputed leader with a share of 5.8%, while Nissan even has 1-2, and the Patrol takes 2nd place. The Toyota Hilux ranks third behind the Toyota Land Cruiser and the Mercedes range. Also receiving excellent marks were the Ford Territory in 7th place, the Nissan X-Trail in 8th place, the Mitsubishi Outlander in 9th place and the Toyota Fortuner in 10th place. Range Rover comes in at an outstanding 11th place. The Rabdan One (rebadged Voyah Free crossover) appears at number 158, and the Rabdan Seven (rebadged Voyah Dreamer minivan) appears at number 288.
