The Jeep Wagoneer S has been revealed ahead of its anticipated arrival in Australia in 2026. The electric SUV features bold Range Roveresque styling and promises high-performance capabilities.

Following teaser images and leaked photos, the Wagoneer S showcases its production design, resembling the concept introduced in 2022. The exterior boasts a black finish with a distinctive LED-lit seven-bar Jeep front grille, slim headlights, and ‘Wagoneer’ lettering on the bonnet. The side profile includes large alloy wheels, trapezoidal wheel arches, and additional ‘Wagoneer’ lettering on the front doors, while the rear features an integrated spoiler and a full-width tail-light bar.

Inside, the Wagoneer S offers a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and a modern cabin with four digital colour screens. These screens include the driver’s instrument cluster, central screens for infotainment and air-conditioning functions, and a dedicated screen for the front passenger. The interior design is minimalist, with most controls located on the steering wheel and a textured centre console housing an electronic park brake.

The cabin also introduces a sculpted ‘Selec Terrain’ central rotary dial in a glossy black setting, managing five drive modes for the 4xe four-wheel-drive system: Sand, Snow, Eco, Auto, and Sport. Jeep emphasizes customizable ambient cabin lighting for a personalized touch.

Under the hood, the Wagoneer S, as Jeep’s first global electric model, is built on the STLA Large electric-car platform. It boasts an impressive 600hp (447kW) output and can accelerate from 0-60mph (96km/h) in 3.5 seconds. Production is set to begin in the second quarter of 2024.

Australia is gearing up for an electric future, with the Wagoneer S leading the way. Jeep plans to introduce two more electric models, the Avenger electric SUV, and the Jeep Recon, both sharing the powerful electric powertrain of the Wagoneer S.

Jeep’s commitment to electrification aligns with its goal of making all European sales electric by 2030, with half of its US sales following suit. Australia is set to embrace this electric shift, with Jeep contributing to a greener automotive landscape. Stay tuned for the arrival of these electrifying Jeeps, shaping the future of Australian roads.
