Ford began selling electric motors for converting cars with internal combustion engines into electric vehicles

This week it became known that Ford has launched sales of electric motors to convert conventional cars into electric vehicles. The engines are based on Mustang Mach-E units.
The Eluminator e-crate engine develops 281 hp. and 433 Nm. In the US, the kit sells for $3900.
To present the engine “for everyone,” a 1978 Ford F-100 pickup was used. Ford says electric motors are just the beginning: the automaker plans to launch kits for converting internal combustion engines to electric vehicles, consisting of battery systems, controllers, inverters and other components.
