Mercedes-AMG is preparing an EQR crossover

According to CAR Magazine, Mercedes-AMG is working on a new electric crossover, the EQR. It is known that the electric car will have 7 seats, and the basis for it will be the EVA platform.

The fact that the electric car is being developed by the AMG division speaks volumes about the sporty nature of the electric car. According to a source inside the company, the EQR will resemble another electric crossover – the Jaguar I-Pace: recognizable design elements will be a sloping roof, a wide body, and low ground clearance. The power plant will be three electric motors with a total power of 1006 hp. and torque 1350 Nm. A battery with a capacity of just over 100 kilowatt-hours will provide a range of more than 700 km on a single charge.

The Mercedes EQR is expected to debut no earlier than 2024.
