Mercedes-Benz presented the electric crossover EQS SUV
The luxury sedan EQS has already firmly taken the place of the S-Class in the Mercedes electric line-up. And now it has an off-road version – the EQS SUV is officially presented.
It is worth recognizing that the crossover is very close to the sedan both in design and equipment. Mercedes said that the EQS SUV will be quite well equipped: future owners will have a package of driver assistants with automatic parking and maintaining a distance to the car in front, adaptive air suspension, steering rear wheels and much more. Displays take center stage in the cabin: 12.3-inch screens for driver and passenger and a central 17.7-inch touchscreen. The main difference between the interior of the EQS SUV and the EQS lies in the number of seats – the more spacious interior of the crossover can accommodate seven passengers.
It is known that the crossover will be produced in two versions – the rear-wheel drive EQS 450+ SUV and the all-wheel drive EQS 580 4MATIC SUV. The manufacturer has not yet indicated the battery capacity and power reserve.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is expected to go on sale at the end of 2022.
