World RX: Magical Canada RX for ALL-INKL Münnich Motorsport Audi

By Tarek Ramchani

The ALL-INKL Münnich Motorsport performed very well in the FIA World Rallycross Championship round at Trois-Rivières. The privateer German Audi team scored their best results so far in World RX with improving Audi S3 Supercars.

The team entered two cars in the only North American event of the season. Team owner René Münnich was joined in Canada by Norway’s Tommy Rustad who replaced Alx Danielsson in Quèbec.

Tommy Rustad an Euro RX regual with a Volkswagen Polo (Marklund Motorsport) was impressive all weekend long in Canada. The Norwegian driver was among the fastest in all of the four heats and managed to qualify to the semi-finals.

The driver of the #24 Audi S3 RX started the first semi-final from the back of the pack but made history at the end of the 6-lap race.

Tommy Rustad took full advantage of the chaos in front of him and moved to the lead. He managed to control the race and won ahead of world class competitors like Toomas Heikkinen and Tanner Fous. A performance that gave the ALL-INKL Münnich Motorsport a first appearance ever in a World RX final.

Tommy Rustad narrowly missed the overall podium in the big. He finished in fourth place overall right behind American star Tanner Foust. A sensational result for the ALL-INKL Münnich Motorsport.

René Münnich was fast as well in Canada in the first two heats on Friday. Unfortunately he did not take part in the Saturday’s two heats with his #77 Audi S3 RX.

The next World RX round for ALL-INKL Münnich Motorsport will be in Norway at the demanding Hell circuit. Alx Danielsson is expected to be back to the team.
